Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Model
By using an in-house developed fuel cell electric vehicle modeling tool, the pro and con of each powertrain combination can be analyzed and presented with the assumption of certain control strategy. The user would need to fill in few variables transferred into the model to perform the simulation.
The vehicle sub-model includes vehicle road load, driver, ambient conditions, and the major powertrain components, including fuel cell stack, transmission, battery, and electric motor/generator, etc.
